A quick note about finding your therapist at TC:
We have a dedicated intake team to examine what you are seeking as a client. While there may be a certain modality, such as CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) or ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) you are seeking, please note that ALL OF TC’s THERAPISTS practice with these modalities in mind, though liberation psychology calls upon many different forms of therapy and does not limit itself to one or two modalities.
Clients often come with a particular therapist in mind– however, availability may be limited and many times there’s another clinician (therapist) who actually suits their needs even better.
Please trust the process.

What to expect from me
Hi, I’m Lisa! I’m an artist, a mother to 7 amazing sons, a grandmother to 5 beautiful little people, a healer, and a lifelong learner. I believe that we all hold the keys to our own healing, but sometimes life gets hard. Oftentimes, it is hard to see our way through all of the obstacles and disappointments that life can throw at us. We can get depressed, anxious, discouraged, and defeated. Sometimes we can just feel lost. It is at those times that we may need someone to walk alongside us to help us find our way. I desire to be that person for my clients. I hope to help my clients find their authentic selves and empower them to live their best lives.’
My Therapy Style
Relationships and honest communication are key. Therapy is a collaborative effort, and it is important to create a strong therapeutic relationship with every client. This partnership enables me to meet each client where they are and employ an approach tailored to their unique needs. I specialize in working with teens and adults who are experiencing grief, loss, and life transitions. I also have experience working with clients who are experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, and anger issues. I offer art therapy sessions and talk therapy sessions. I also utilize meditation, mindfulness practices, and energy work to incorporate the mind, body, and spirit of my clients. I also use humor. My clients and I laugh a lot.
What I’m Passionate About
I am passionate about helping people make changes that will allow them to live more fully, freely, and authentically. I bring all my life experience into my sessions with clients and use every tool in my toolbox. I use an honest, open, non-judgmental, empathetic, person-centered approach. My goal is to create a safe space where my clients can feel comfortable, seen, heard, and cared for. Creating this type of environment empowers my clients and encourages them to take control of their healing, using the strengths they already have to achieve their goals. Because of my own life experiences, I have a special interest and passion for helping clients who are coming out of relationships with narcissistic partners find their voice and rebuild their confidence and self-esteem. The rebuilding process can be hard, but it is absolutely achievable.
Who I Work With
Two words describe my ideal client: willing and open. My ideal client is someone who wants to change and is ready and willing to do the work it takes to make that change in their life. At the same time, they understand that creating change is a process. They are open to trying something they’ve never tried before, giving themselves grace when they fail, and being okay with starting again if necessary. Together, we can find the answers they need to make the change they want.
Me When I’m Not a Therapist
When I am not being a therapist, I am somewhere practicing what I preach! Sometimes pretty poorly, but when I can, I’m making art, loving on my family, tending to my friendships, laughing, and finding new things to be excited about! I love to travel, eat, and did I say laugh? Bottom line, I’m a work in progress just like everyone else. I will never stop growing, learning, and working to heal my own heart.
